Summary of the Project
Please note that this website does not describe a real event. While the World Equestrian Games are real, this proposal is part of a final project for an Honors seminar through the University of Cincinnati, entitled Sports and Multiculturalism and facilitated by Kevin Grace. The goal of this project is to create a proposal for an international sporting event, with the sport and location randomly assigned by the facilitator. When exploring this site, you will see issues of culture, history, transportation, costs, and a whole host of others addressed, all of which are necessary to be considered in any international sporting event. This is particularly timely with the recent completion of the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics, and the controversy that came alongside them.
